Babylon A.D. Podcast |
Diesel is a mercenary who is hired to rescue a very special girl. This futuristic movie is so bad even the French director doesn’t want to know anything about it. |

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor |
There are things that should be left untouched—in this case, buried under the sand—for eternity. Despite the Hollywood “sequel” curse written in stone, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor rises, but fails to impress or entertain anybody. |

The X-Files II: I Want to Believe |
The Award-Winning TV Show The X-Files have seen better days. It was once a terrific sci-fi show that dealt with two FBI agents who worked together to solve paranormal cases, mostly related to aliens from other worlds and dimensions. But after a decade since the first film (and more than six years since the last season), the true twilight zone moment is the lack of imagination (or common sense) by the writers to come up with something interesting or halfway decent. |

Hellboy II: The Golden Army Podcast |
An excellent sequel of the 2004 original, Hellboy: The Golden Army is another great film by Guillermo del Toro who has reinvented fantasy films by writing great stories, adding just enough action, creating interesting characters with state-of-the-art graphics and make-up. We are looking forward to see more of his fantastic films.

The Dark Knight Podcast |
The Dark Knight might go down in history as the most overrated film ever made—my other candidates are Titanic and Knocked Up—with so much unnecessary hype it’s sickening. Yes, it is a respectable film with good action sequences, philosophy and a late actor who gave an excellent performance, but it’s far from being the best superhero movie of the year (that title goes to Iron Man). |

Hancock Podcast |
We say it all the time; Will Smith is a talented, charismatic and mesmerizing actor. But the issues with Hancock however, are the writers’ lack of imagination, the mixed signals about its genre, and an action director whose camera style is not suitable for this kind of film. In the end, Hancock is a movie that has a good movie star who delivers, but everything around him is tedious and uncreative—without him, it would be unwatchable. |

WALL-E Podcast |
WALL-E is without a doubt, one of the best animated films ever. Its greatness relies not only on graphics and lovely characters, but on its ecological message. Pixar’s first political film is also its most powerful one. |

Wanted Podcast |
Wanted might not be another Matrix, but it’s definitely a respectable shoot-‘em-up film about an average Joe who turns into a deadly assassin. It might be a bit cliché with the story, but it has plenty of style, action and humor, and please don’t think too much about The Fraternity’s ways because the more you think about it, the less it makes sense. |

Street Kings Movie Review |
Detective Detective Tom Ludlow(Reeves) becomes a drunken/renegade cop after the death of his wife and needs to solve the mystery behind his friend's death. Again, this is not Training Day. Street Kings follows the same “cop drama/shoot 'em up” formula, but falls short to provide a sense of realism and character development. Keanu Reeves, once again, shows everyone that he cannot do these kinds of films—at least Christian Bale was a bit more charismatic in "Harsh Times"--a similar film by the same director. |
